The Facial Love of My Life

In your life, you have probably had a facial or two. And like dates, you know when you have had one that is REALLY special. That is how I felt when I had the Sisley Facial in Harrods a few weeks ago. And I feel that my skin is still reaping the rewards…
I was so relaxed under that big duvet that I could have fallen asleep whilst the lovely beautician massaged my face, arms and even feet! At a time when with all the travels, I really felt that I needed that boost, Sisley has always been my go-to for beauty rescue remedies.
I especially fell head over heels for the Gentle Buffing Cream. This product deserves a standing ovation. It is applied like an exfoliating cream, however, it is then left on the face until it is bone dry and you then rubbed off to reveal brighter, smoother looking skin. Genius. Then the Flower Gel Mask will lock in the moisture and rejuvinate the skin in only 5 minutes. I love that.
The bottom line is: it made me love Sisley even more than before, if that’s even possible.
Take your pick, you can’t go wrong. From £100.

Spring is in the Air

Talk about spring has sprung. Yesterday (unlike today) was one of those glorious first days of spring in London. The sun was shining and the birds were chirping. What better day to shed the greyness of winter than with a Spring Facial. The clever people at the White Room, a new salon in Knightsbridge, have designed just that. They have, in fact, developed facials for each season to concentrate on different pressure points and cleanse a different part of the body for each one. Spring is about kick-starting the liver and gall bladder.

The White Room is a picture of loveliness. Clean, beautiful and bright as you would expect. They are also the sole distributors of Clé Des Champs – which is an organic, natural skincare range from Lyon in France. Each product, which are exclusively used for the facials, smell heavenly.

I was in the capable hands of Sophia, who customises each facial to any particular skin type regardless of what the brochure states. Meaning: you get the perfect facial for your needs. In my case, my dehydrated skin needed moisture. Sophia’s magic hands massaged and cleansed my skin to perfection, however, it was when she started to massage Clé Des Champs’ wonder balm that I felt truly invigorated. Thick with Beeswax and Borage Oil, it made my skin feel completely restored. Sophia even massaged it in to my hair for extra nourishment. This balm is the ultimate go-to for any skin ailments – anywhere in the body, whether it’s dry lips or chapped feet.

Needless to say I walked out feeling a million dollars. And walking a little taller. The little touches throughout made my entire experience completely delightful. I can’t wait to discover the rest of the Clé Des Champs range.

White Room treatments start from £20.00

Feeling Hot

My love of Omorovicza does not appear to be on the wane at all. In fact, quite the contrary. Every product I have tried from the Hungarian brand has been of the utmost quality. It is definitely one that is worth the splurge.

So imagine my excitement when I found out that their senior therapist Adrienne Harsanyi was going to be making a pit-stop visit to Liberty in London for a special week of facial events from Sunday 12 December until Friday 18 December.

It's a rare opportunity to have an Omorovicza facial, not to mention get bucket loads of beauty tips. Your skin will be kneaded in to position with a skin-plumping massage followed by a layer of Hungarian Moor Mud Mask.
Costing £65, it is redeemable against products, so you won't walk away empty-handed. (I recommend the Radiance Renewal Serum)
You're guaranteed to come out looking and feeling hot. Book your appointment on 020 7573 9402
