The Elegant Flower
I think Jasmine is one of my favourite flowers of all-time. Did you know that women in South-East Asia just wear the flowers in their hair? Talk about fresh.
While, Korres, my favourite Greek beauty brand, scent their heavenly collection of Jasmine bodycare with newly opened jasmine buds, making the smell delicate yet super-long-lasting. Layer the showergel with the Body Butter and you’ll barely have any need for perfume. Now breathe deeply.
Korres Bodycare collections start at £8.

Full Of Volume
Don't you just feel great when you are having a good hair day? Frederic Fekkai (I like to think almost personally) ensures that I have one most days. Fekkai transforms my fine, wavy hair in to a bit of a mane and that's how I like it.
I especially love the Full Blown Volume Lifting Hairspray, which smells like an apple-mint mist and delivers exceptional results. When I want a bouffant to rival any 60s diva, I also reach for the mousse. Double action. Trust their exclusive plumping complex. If you want volume, these are the two bad boys I recommend. Use them wisely.

One Little Miracle
Maybe it's the running. Maybe it's just the over-excitement about the weather. Maybe it's something else. But my skin is as dry as the Sahara desert at the moment. I am feeding it with everything I have, but what's working its magic is Balm Balm Little Miracle Rosehip Serum. It is a lovely blend of some of my favourite essential oils including Rosehip (duh!), Borage (which is en vogue at the moment), Juniper Berry and Mandarin. Plus lemon of course. It smells fresh and satisfying. And my skin is thankful for every drop.

Supernatural Powers
With Spring finally in the air, I have started running again. And running through Shoreditch Park reminds me of festivals. It is always noisy, crazy, busy and the smell of fresh grass, almost hay-like is reminiscent of late summer nights.
But the colours of fresh spring, I find really inspiring. And makeup at this time of year should be fresh. Dewy skin and sweet doe eyes. I love Korres' makeup for this reason. The textures are so soft, creamy, blendable that it is almost impossible to overdo it. This blush is actually insanely natural. Super peachy. And the pencil is one of the softest I have tried and I have a real bug bear about pulling the delicate skin in this area. Plus, green and blue eyeshadows are the new way to channel the 70s hot-trend.
So, spring in to action, right?

I'm Gonne Let It Shine
I have a new hair secret. And it’s so good that I almost don’t want to share it, but that would be mean. I have always had fine hair. And I have always wanted thick hair. Fine hair and volume don’t always go together, and what I have found is that ‘Volumising’ products don’t always do what they say on the tin.
With my penchant for discovering exciting new brands, I feel very lucky to have come across Gielly Green. This haircare just feels different. The range is full of handpicked natural ingredients. And actually, the shampoo looks like molten gold. Plus, the products are infused with three wonder oils Argan, Neem and Sea Buckthorn.
The shampoo is a classic clean formula and doesn’t actually claim to puff up, volumise, curl or straighten the hair. But what I have found is that each hair strand feels so clean that the hair becomes full of natural volume. It is not stripped of its natural oils, but rather cleansed in to place.
The Argan rescue oil is something else. If you have fine hair, a drop or two at night through the ends is all you need. You’ll never experience a shinier gloss. So as they say, let it shine.

Spring is in the Air
Talk about spring has sprung. Yesterday (unlike today) was one of those glorious first days of spring in London. The sun was shining and the birds were chirping. What better day to shed the greyness of winter than with a Spring Facial. The clever people at the White Room, a new salon in Knightsbridge, have designed just that. They have, in fact, developed facials for each season to concentrate on different pressure points and cleanse a different part of the body for each one. Spring is about kick-starting the liver and gall bladder.
The White Room is a picture of loveliness. Clean, beautiful and bright as you would expect. They are also the sole distributors of Clé Des Champs – which is an organic, natural skincare range from Lyon in France. Each product, which are exclusively used for the facials, smell heavenly.
I was in the capable hands of Sophia, who customises each facial to any particular skin type regardless of what the brochure states. Meaning: you get the perfect facial for your needs. In my case, my dehydrated skin needed moisture. Sophia’s magic hands massaged and cleansed my skin to perfection, however, it was when she started to massage Clé Des Champs’ wonder balm that I felt truly invigorated. Thick with Beeswax and Borage Oil, it made my skin feel completely restored. Sophia even massaged it in to my hair for extra nourishment. This balm is the ultimate go-to for any skin ailments – anywhere in the body, whether it’s dry lips or chapped feet.
Needless to say I walked out feeling a million dollars. And walking a little taller. The little touches throughout made my entire experience completely delightful. I can’t wait to discover the rest of the Clé Des Champs range.

One Sexy Fringe Please
Having no internet really does feel ridiculously archaic. I have since had to try and entertain myself ‘off-line’. And boy did I get some entertainment when I went for a wonderful haircut at Aveda’s Holborn Salon. Man, I LOVE that place. The last time I went there, I had the fantabulous Cher cutting my hair, and this time, I had the almost impossibly gorgeous Olivier seeing to my tresses.
What I really wanted is a fringe similar to my girl crush Freja Beha Erichsen. Quite short, quite messy and tres sexy. Olivier was up to the challenge. What I love about this Aveda salon is the little touches. A little shoulder massage before you’ve even had a chance to snoop at the magazines. Plus, the most amazing-smelling products. Fact. I got whiffs of my conditioner hours after I left the salon.
And the results were: a gorge haircut that will only get better with time (I can tell). A sexy fringe (even Olivier said it was) and one relaxed set of shoulders. If only every trip to the hairdressers was such bliss.
